Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is located in Arlington County, Virginia about three miles south of the Washington D.C. business district.
The airport was originally named Washington National Airport but was renamed in 1998 in honor of the former President of the United States, Ronald Reagan.

The airport has an information line to call as well as information counters in each terminal of the airport. There are ATMs and money changing facilities available in the terminals as well as one full service bank, Chevy Chase Bank, which is located in Terminal B.
The Reagan National Airport is virtually a shopping mall with the variety of stores and eating establishments. There are a wide range of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, snack bars, fast-food restaurants, and cafes available at the terminals. Restaurants include Allie’s Deli, McDonald’s, Panda Express, Matsutake Sushi, Dunkin Donuts, and TGI Friday’s, just to name a few. Stores include Rosetta Stone, Godiva, Brookstone, Jos. A Bank, Crabtree & Evelyn, PGA Tour Shop, and Olsson’s Books, among many others.
There are business facilities located in Terminals B and C where you can take care of business needs such as fax, photocopy, notary services, insurance, and other services.

Postal services are located in Terminal C.
At the south end of Terminal B is an Interfaith Chapel open 24/7 to people of all faiths if you need a quiet place to spend a few moments.
Baggage carts are available in the terminals as well as the parking garages and near the metro station. The cart kiosks accept coins as well as $1 and $5.
Smoking is not allowed in the building at DCA however smoking is allowed on the outside terraces on the upper level of terminal B and C.
There are also many services available to those with disabilities including animal relief stations for service animals and accessible parking. Relief stations are located on either side of the main traffic circle outside of Terminal A and also across from the Metrorail station entrance by both Terminal B and C. All parking lots have some disability accessible parking, and all parking shuttles are equipped with motorized lifts and are free of charge to all passengers. Short term or hourly parking is available at DCA in parking garages A, B, and C. For easy access to the terminals it is best to park in the garage that matches the terminal you will need for example if you will be using terminal A then park in garage A. Hourly parking in the garages is $2 for the first 2 hours and $4 for 4 hours, with a maximum daily charge of $20. Daily parking in the garages costs $20 per 24 hours.
Economy Parking, or surface parking, for long term parking at Reagan Airport is $3 for the first hour with a maximum charge of $12.
Designated handicapped spots are available for use with vehicles displaying a government issued handicapped plate or a placard for use by the disabled.
There aren’t many off-site parking options near Reagan National. However, some hotels offer park and fly packages. When you spend one night at the hotel you are able to leave a vehicle parked there for up to two weeks. These hotels have a shuttle service that will shuttle you to and from the airport. If you want to avoid the hassle of airport parking and have a friend to pick you up at the airport they can use the Cell Phone Waiting Lot located just beyond terminals B and C. When your flight has arrived you can use your cell phone to call your friend and they can park free in the Waiting Lot. The maximum stay in the Lot is one hour.
